I know people have been pondering about what I mean when I hash tag that on twitter and underneath my pictures on Instagram.
Mission Possible is my weight loss journey. I titled it Mission Possible because that’s what it is: possible.
My weight loss journey is a work in progress. I tell ya. I have come a mighty long way with my weight. There have been times where I’ve almost wanted to give up. Losing weight–and I mean a significant amount of weight is not a walk in the park at all. You know what’s ironic is that most of the challenge comes from your mindset, not you physically working the weight off.
To lose weight, you really do have to make sure your mind is at a place that’s ready to go through this long journey. If you go into it because you want to lose weight because you want to wear a bikini, you’re going to have a harder time sticking to it. When you make being healthy just a part of your normal, every day life, the weight will take care of itself.
Even though it’s difficult, losing weight is possible–so is keeping the weight off but we’ll talk about that when we get there.
Losing weight is all about consistency and having a positive mindset. If you got those two things, you can lose the weight. It’s possible.
Mission Possible started my senior year of high school when I officially decided that I wanted to lose at least 70 pounds. I’ve lost 30 pounds but I’ve gained back 10 pounds. My goal for 2014 is to move forward in my quest to lose 50 pounds. I believe I can do it. I believe I’ll hit that goal and it’ll be the best day of my life.
I believe that it’s possible.
Join me on my quest to better health. Cheers to Mission Possible.
